We are seeking a talented Video Editor with additional Graphic Design Skills to bring our content vision to life. This role is central to creating high-quality visual content that resonates with our audience and supports our marketing goals. From editing eye-catching TikTok videos to designing visually compelling graphics for ads and social media, you will be at the forefront of our creative strategy and critical team member.

Your Role, what you'll be doing:

Video Editing


  • Videos footage and raw media will be sent to you. You will then create ideas, edit and produce high-quality short-form and long-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. 
  • Create Promo videos using still images and graphics
  • Create and repurpose clips from long videos
  • Add motion graphics, transitions, and effects to elevate content quality.
  • Collaborate with the content and social media teams to manage video content with campaigns, trends and content they are creating.
  • Adapt video content for various platforms, ensuring proper formatting and optimization.
  • Share your content with Social media and website teams to upload.
  • Use Ai tools to adapt and enhance videos

Graphic Design


  • Create visually appealing graphics for social media posts, stories, and ads using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Create graphics to be using in your videos
  • Design banners, adapt product images, and promotional assets for eCommerce campaigns.
  • Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Trend Monitoring and Creative Ideation


  • Stay updated on video and design trends, especially within beauty, fashion, and lifestyle niches.
  • Propose new video ideas and design concepts based on current social media trends and platform-specific best practices.
  • Work with the SEO and content teams to integrate video and graphic content into blogs, landing pages, and other web assets.

Collaboration and Workflow Management


  • Partner with social media managers to create campaign assets that boost engagement and conversions.
  • Plan a schedule, Efficiently communicate and direct the team to produce raw video/image media you require to achieve a planned video series
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop Ad creatives optimized for paid campaigns.
  • Organize and manage a content library of reusable assets for streamlined production and repurposing.
  • Analyze video and graphic performance metrics, making recommendations for improvement.

Skills and Requirements

Experience:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing and graphic design.
  • Share your portfolio and examples of works

Skills


  • Proficiency in video editing software like Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Experience creating short-form content for social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics software such as After Effects (beneficial not essential).
  • Understanding of social media trends and platform-specific video formats.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full working knowledge of Ai video and Image tools (essential)

Our eCommerce brand is promoting a new product a Luxury Perfume called "Elixir Fusion" and we need a promotional video and graphic.

Instructions:

Create a short promotional video (10-15 seconds) for social media. The video should:

  1. Highlight key product features and benefits.
  2. Include motion graphics or text overlays to enhance the message.
  3. Use both Ai and tools like After affects to create motion, special affects and UGC
  4. Design a complementary graphic for the product launch (e.g., Instagram post or story).
  5. Submit your video and graphic as a downloadable link (e.g., Google Drive or Dropbox) with a short description of your creative choices.
